According to a large number of experimental studies, plants need different wavelengths of light in different growth stages. Full simulation of the sun's rays light can provide all the light needed for all growth stages of plants and help plants grow better. products 【veg & bloom double switches】:plants require different light at different stages of growth. Veg and bloom mode can provide different light for plants at different stages of growth.

I heard it increases their efficiency, also the fact they get pretty hot worries me a bit. I do have a large stand fan pointing at my 100w led, though i'm upgrading and adding two 240w kingbrite leds to my 3x5' grow space. I don't see many people mention they point fans at their grow lights, so wondering how necessary it is. I'm outside the us so hard to find good clip on fans, also some note they pose a fire hazard, so just weighing my options.

Received the lights, a few days later the company pushed out a firmware update and now the lights don't turn completely off. Company said they have to be replaced and have arranged new lights to be sent out which i am waiting for. There are other issues, it talks about a grow diary in the controller manual and app, but this does not exist. You can't control the light spectrum (like a reef light), you can only choose one of the 3 presents, and this just adjusts which led's are turned on rather than changing the spectrum on the led (so not as advertised), this also means you can't decide when to turn the uv on or how intense you want the uv, it is simply on all the time.

Please support & share our mission; igg. Me/at/smartplants today we will be putting together yet another led grow light. A much cooler one. Cooling down grow lights are still the biggest issue, whether hps, cfl or leds. Most of the space usually goes towards this problem with either of these system. Most of the cost also is created towards the solution, fans. Lots of them. Led grow lights have already proven themselves easier to cool down compared to other methods. My previous design; https://www. Instructables. Com/id/led-grow-light-4/ had to use fans to cool itself, due to the lack of a proper heatsink.

Aren't passively-cooled LED grow lights better?

Hps, mh, cmh / lec and other high intensity discharge lights increase in efficiency as the bulb gets warmer, because much of their light is generated by super-heated gasses inside the arc tube. Cooling these bulbs decreases their efficiency, even though it is necessary to keep your grow room from overheating! leds make light in a fundamentally different way; by directly converting electricity to light. The cooler the led, the more efficient this process is: you get more photons per watt from a cooler led than if the temperature is increased. Leds also degrade at a rate directly linked to the temperature they run at; the warmer they are, the faster they permanently lose light output.
